Plugged my hard drive in, the light comes on. and nothing. It just didn't work and wasn't worth paying for shipping to send back. Oh well.
This was exactly the right size for shirt pocket backup. Best way to make good use of those old notebook drives. Just add old 2.5 drive. Bus powered is great. Liked it so much bought 2 of these and 2 5.25 version. No frills, quality product.
The enclosure is nothing fancy, but was simple to insert a drive into and simple to use. Sturdy aluminum case and a two tailed USB cable. Includes a CD with drivers for older versions of Window. Very good value.
The ultra slim enclosure fits well in your pocket and feels tough enough to withstand sitting on it. ;)
I put a 100gb Toshiba drive in this enclosure from an old laptop. It does exactly what it's supposed to do without problem. I have already bought a second one for an old 40gb drive I have laying around.
